Traceability connects a material with its source, batch and handling records. Keeping these details alongside experimental methods supports investigation when results vary.

Record the product identifier, lot number, receipt date and storage conditions. Retain the original COA and document changes in handling or preparation.

An analytical report belongs to the material and batch it identifies. Results from a different batch should not be treated as interchangeable.
